James Bowe
James has been trading proprietary capital for the past five years. Over that period, he has produced strong returns while continuously refining a strategy designed to scale effectively for investors in Arasan Capital, LP.
Prior to founding Arasan Capital, James worked in Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Citizens Capital Markets and Trinity Capital. Before that, he traded Interest Rate Products for Nomura and Morgan Stanley, focusing on relative-value arbitrage. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in Interest Rate Sales, covering major hedge funds across U.S. and European interest-rate products.
James holds a BA in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Colby College, where he was a multi-year letter-winning Track & Field athlete.
He lives in Santa Monica with his wife, Priya, their four-year-old daughter, and twin two-year-old sons. Outside of markets, he enjoys road biking, running, skiing, and competing in his auto racing club.
